Tracking Growth

Track height, weight, head circumference, BMI, and temperature to see trends over time.

Add Measurements

  1. Open a child profile
  2. Click Add Measurement
  3. Enter type, value, date, and units
  4. Click Save

Growth Charts

Go to Growth to see percentiles and trends (WHO 0–2, CDC 2–20). Consistency over time matters more than a single point.

Edit or Delete

Use the Measurements list to edit or remove incorrect entries.

Export

Export charts or CSV data when you need to share records.

Accessing Measurement History

  1. Go to the child's profile
  2. Click the Measurements tab
  3. View all measurements in chronological order
  4. Filter by type (height, weight, etc.)
  5. Sort by date or value

Editing Measurements

Correct or update measurement data.

Editing a Measurement

  1. Find the measurement in the list
  2. Click Edit or the pencil icon
  3. Update the value, date, or notes
  4. Click Save Changes
Recalculation

Editing measurements will recalculate percentiles and may affect growth chart trends.


Deleting Measurements

Remove incorrect measurements from the record.

  1. Find the measurement in the list
  2. Click Delete or the trash icon
  3. Confirm the deletion
Consider Editing

If the value is slightly off, consider editing rather than deleting to maintain the data point on the chart.


Exporting Growth Data

Export measurements and charts for your records or to share with healthcare providers.

Export Options

  1. CSV Export - Download measurement data as a spreadsheet
  2. PDF Report - Generate a printable report with charts
  3. Chart Images - Save growth charts as PNG/JPG

Tips for Tracking Growth

Measure consistently - Same time of day, same conditions

Record immediately - Add measurements right after doctor visits

Don't obsess over single points - Focus on the trend over time

Compare to your child's curve, not others - Every child grows differently

Discuss concerns with your pediatrician - They can interpret the charts in context

Take photos - Capture growth milestones with photos attached to measurements
