Recording Visits

Track all types of medical appointments and visits in Trajectory. Keep a comprehensive record of wellness checkups, sick visits, injuries, and specialist appointments.

Types of Visits​

  • 🏥 Wellness, 🤒 Sick, 🚑 Injury, 👁️ Vision, 🦷 Dental, 🏃 Specialty

Adding a Visit​

Record a medical visit to keep track of what happened and any important notes.

Steps to Add a Visit​

  1. Open the child profile
  2. Click Add Visit
  3. Add type, date, provider, notes, and measurements (optional)
  4. Click Save

Add a visit

Wellness Checkups​

Track measurements, vaccinations, and key notes from routine checkups.

Sick Visits​

Capture symptoms, diagnosis, medications, and link to an illness record if applicable.

Injury Visits​

Record what happened, treatment, and follow-up care.

Vision Appointments​

Record results, prescriptions, and follow-up notes.

Visit Notes​

Keep notes for diagnosis, treatment, tests, and follow-up.

Attachments​

Attach test results, prescriptions, or summaries from the visit. See Documents & Attachments.

Editing Visits​

Open a visit, click Edit, update details, and Save.

Visit History​

Use the Visits tab to view and filter all visits for a child.

Deleting a Visit​

Permanent Action

Deleting a visit cannot be undone. Associated measurements and documents may be affected.

To delete a visit:

  1. Open the visit record
  2. Click Delete (usually in the settings or options menu)
  3. Confirm the deletion
Consider Editing Instead

If the visit information is incorrect, consider editing it rather than deleting to maintain the historical record.
